Spouse of former patient

I think Tim is a very good therapist and we enjoyed having him come to our home.  He helped J. to recover from her foot injury.  Very patient with her and helped her get full use of her foot with exercises and therapy.

Former patient

“The therapy helped me with back pain, leg pain and vertigo.”

D. former patient

“With therapy activities are easier.  I am able to do the exercises then when I first started.  This therapy is a lot more thorough than therapies I have had.  I am having a lot less pain after the therapy.”

H. former patient

My therapist helped with coordination.  I am much better and am stronger.

Hand surgery

Recent surgery? Call In Home Therapy of Grand RapidsV. a former patient writes “Before I got my PT it was very hard and painful to open and close my left hand.  It was also sore to the touch and swollen.  The middle finger on my left hand was very hard to straighten out.  After PT I felt a lot better.  I could open and close my hand without pain.  I was also taught a massage technique that helps my scar less sensitive and painful.  I was shown exercises for my fingers that made them more limber.  In all I was very happy with my results.”

T. former patient

“Exiting a chair is easier, I am walking better and longer distances.  My balance is more stable and I haven’t fallen.”

G. former patient

“In all of my 90 years most of my experience with therapists has been in the last 25 years. Tim was #1. He examined my back and located the exact pain and worked on it. The next time he came the pain was down and after 4 visits was gone.  He had special exercises made up for me.  I would not recommend anyone else but him. He is #1 in my rating for patients and concerns.”

B. former patient

Tim was a very good therapist.  He worked mostly on my legs where I have the most problems.  He showed me how to use braces.  I really appreciate the time he spent with me.  I hope he can come back sometime.

D. former patient

“Tim was instrumental in getting me started with regular exercises.”

Ankle fracture and car accident

Call In Home Therapy of Grand Rapids for your rehabJ. a former patient reports “I suffered from a broken ankle 2x’ and had 2 surgeries.  I also was in a car accident and sustained an injury to my back.  I was in a deep state of depression and isolation.  My PT Tim came to my home and worked on my ankle and back regularly with me and also taught me how to “fix my self”.  I began to feel so much better.  I stopped working out and exercising due to my injuries.  Now I’m back at the gym, I’ve purchased a bike and formed a bike club!!!  I feel great.  I have my own TENS unit for pain (NO PILLS)!!!  In Home Physical Therapy has given me my life back.  Not to mention my PT was a kind, caring, persistent therapist.  Thanks, Tim You Rock.”

Wrist fracture

Wrist pain? In Home Therapy of Grand Rapids can help.

L. a former patient writes, “I fractured my right wrist in places in November.  My cast came off on Jan. 4 2017 and I started with Tim – whom I requested – on Jan 5; and he came two times a week for 4 weeks.  With Tim’s help and the exercises he gave me to do on my own, I am able to be self-sufficient including knitting and driving.  I still have some pain which is probably due in part to arthritis.  I would highly recommend Tim to anyone needing Physical Therapy at home.”

G. Suffering from back pain and poor balance

I started 6 weeks ago.  Limited flexibility or strength.  Tim, my at home therapist is more than I could have hoped for.  Working diligently on balance and to be more ambulatory.  Tim directed me through a variety of activities to help with my lumbar spine.  TENS unit being one.  I would feel a little better after a session with that.  I had no ability to walk and am currently working on expanding that.  The pain

level 6 weeks ago was 7, several days it stayed at 7.  My pain scale was reduced to 4-5.  These things do not overall eliminate my vast areas of pain.  My lower lumbar has a couple of compression fractures.  I so needed the in home program.  Thank you for understanding that need.  I will continue with my after therapy work.

J. recent knee replacement

Knee replacement physical therapyMy experience with In Home was excellent. I wasn’t too long out of surgery so everything was pretty sore. The therapy helped me a great deal. By the time I went to a rehab facility, they were amazed at how far along I was. I wouldn’t have been if not for Tim.

Knee replacement

Knee pain, call In Home Therapy of Grand RapidsP. recently completed her PT after knee replacement surgery.  She was originally supposed to go out for therapy however was unable to make it there, so she received in-home physical therapy.  “When I came home the weather was terrible.  I thought I would not get to a therapy place.  Thankfully, I received a person who was very good for me.  My therapist helped me to walk without help early.  I didn’t think I would make Christmas with family at my son’s house.  The therapist worked with me so I could go. I was doing steps to the basement – 12 of them.  I got into a car.  I was cooking, doing laundry and dishes, also feeding my 3 dogs and husband.  I would really want him again for therapy.  It was so convenient.”
